If you click on the entry you can see when the food was tested, by whom and where the value was published.

Alternatively, if you want a handy printed list of GI values to refer to, check out a copy of The Shopper's Guide to GI Values 2008 (Brand-Miller & Foster-Powell). There's currently both a US and Australian edition of this and it is updated annually.

The GI News index will simply be that, an index to the GI News stories about the latest values. And also saves us answering the same questions time and again (gets a bit time consuming). Once the year settles down and all are back at their desks we will be moving on this one. If you go to the GI database, you can get a list of the most recent foods tested.GI Grouphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07609354784645028388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13473599.post-68499715570781448982008-01-03T11:35:00.000+11:002008-01-03T11:35:00.000+11:00It would be great to be able to access all the 'la...It would be great to be able to access all the 'latest GI values' through an index. Also the past 'foods of the month'. I tried navigating to past issues, but it would be good if there was a linked list. Thanks

RowanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
